The Salisbury Arms

South Weston

This description is taken from the 1982 edition of the CAMRA publication ‘Oxfordshire ale’.
“Comfortable and friendly pub, secluded but close to the motorway— a real delight. Saved from threatened closure by Brakspear’s by a local petition in 1981. Good value restaurant with amazing seafood menu, including shark!”
The licencees moved on to the Boot at Aston Tirrold—also now closed.
